Responsibilities include meeting projects requirements and deadlines, delegating tasks to the team of backend developers, mentoring new interns, writing project proposals and of course working on projects.
Worked on developing 3 separate Django projects and 2 open source packages for Django. Promoted to Intern’s team leader at the end of the internship.
The 8 Heroes program is a training that includes App Development on top of Windows Phone and Windows 8 platforms in addition to Personal Branding and Soft Skills like Presentation and Communication Skills. Developed a windows mobile app "TaxiMeter" using C# and Xaml
Assisted in the lab sessions of Computer Programming Lab Course . The course covers object oriented programming, exception handling and creating GUI-based Applications. Responsibilities included answering the students’ questions, revising and checking their code, solving their problems and sometimes explaining the concept or the question itself.
Attended workshops in HTML and CSS3 and was exposed to various aspects of software development lifecycle in LINK Development
Rana has extremely high potential, within her short period of internship she showed leadership skills that led to her assignmnet as the intern's team leader, she is a highly skilled individual and a strong asset to any company she chooses to work with. We were lucky to have her in our team.
Rana was working independetly most of the time with minimal supervision, not due to lack of mentors, but rather due to her ability to produce high quality work with little help from mentors. She was put in stressful projects and handled them perfectly well.
